Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will conduct RRB NTPC 2020 maintaining social distancing rules.
Indian Railways is in the process of hiring a private agency for conducting pending exams. More than 1.25 crore candidates have registered for RRB NTPC exam.
The exam conducting agency is likely to be finalized by June 29. The agency will be responsible for conducting the computer-based tests as well as other recruitment related activities such as processing of results, creating a list of panel, etc.
As per the recent notification, to overcome the challenges due to COVID-19 situation, RRBs will follow below norms while conducting the exam.
Candidates will have to wear masks at the examination centre. The railways will make arrangements to tackle impersonation. The temperature of candidates will be checked at the entry gate.
Maintaining social distancing
As there will be mass gathering at RRB NTPC exam centres, the number of candidates to be allotted in a particular centre will be cut down. This will be done to maintain social distance between two candidates.
Sanitisation of exam centres
The sanitization of exam centres after each shift will be done to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Students biometric impression will not be captured at the exam centres. At the entry gate, RRB NTPC admit card and photo-identity proof will be checked before allowing candidates to enter the exam hall.
RRBs are yet to announce RRB NTPC exam dates. The exam dates will be announced once the exam conducting agency is finalized. The admit cards will be issued to candidates four days prior to the date of CBT.
