UPSC has declared the result of NDA (I) & (II) 2020 on October 9 on their official website upsc.gov.in.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the common exam NDA (I) & NDA (II)  on September 6 in offline mode. The result will be available on the website in pdf format which will display the candidate’s roll number and various details.

Earlier, it was said that the UPSC will release the result in December. However, the commission has released the result before the scheduled date.

The candidates who have managed to clear the written test will be selected for the second round. The second round is named as SSB round (Services Selection Board). Aspirants who clear this round will be selected for the various categories.

The candidates who appear for NDA (I) are chosen for Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy while the NDA (II) selected candidates are given admission to the 146th Course and 108th course of National Defence Academy and INAC respectively.

UPSC NDA (I) and (II) 2020 result: Steps to check Result

Aspirants can now check the result of the common exam by following these steps:

  • Visit the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
  • Click on the link ‘Written Results’ on the right-hand side.
  • Click on ‘Examination Results’.
  • A pdf screen will appear which will display the result.
  • Scroll down to search the name and roll number. If the candidate’s name is there in the list, it means that he/she has been selected for the next round.
  • Download the list and print the same for future use.

Candidates can directly view the results here.

The result will show the candidate's name, roll number, and overall & selectional scores. The original mark sheets of candidates are generally released within 15 days of the result announcement.

UPSC NDA (I) and (II) 2020: Things to submit after the Result

The following things are to be kept in mind after the appearance of the name in the list:

  • Candidates are required to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website within 14 days.
  • The authorities will provide the candidate a specific day, date, and place of SSB interviews. 
  • Submission of original documents like age certificate, mark sheets of previous qualified exams, etc. These must be submitted to SSBs.
