The Indian Coast Guard, Ministry of Defence has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment process for the vacant posts of Navik, the domestic branch (cook and steward). The notice is released on its official website joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.
The authority is carrying the recruitment drive for the Indian Coast Guard Navik to fill in 50 vacant posts. The application process for the recruitment will commence on November 30. The deadline for applying for the posts is December 7. The vacancies have arisen according to different categories which are shown below.

The basic pay for the selected candidate will be Rs. 21700. This does not include the other bonuses and allowances such as Dearness Allowance. The applicants will have to go through various stages to get recruited finally. The candidates will have to initially appear for the written exam and then for the Physical Fitness Test.
The written test will cover various concepts from quantitative aptitude, mathematics, general science, general English, general awareness (current affairs and general knowledge), and reasoning (verbal and non-verbal).
