The UPSC Civil Service Prelims exam for 2020 is scheduled for October 4, 2020. Alakh Alok Srivastava, who is the Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court has recently written a letter to the Union Public Service Commission appealing for the postponement of the prelims of UPSC Civil Service exam in 2020. According to the latest reports from ICMR, the outbreak of coronavirus is likely to reach its peak in India around November. At the same time, remote areas of North-East villages have been flooded and given rise to internet connectivity issues. Amidst such situation, conducting the exam on October 4, 2020 as it is scheduled may lead to problems for many aspirants who will not be able to appear for the exam at all. Earlier the exam was scheduled for May 31, 2020.

At present, the UPSC NDA 2020 exam admit cards have been released and both NDA 1 and 2 have been scheduled for September 5, 2020 and will be conducted offline.
