  • The UPSC IES Salary is INR 55,135/- after the 7th Pay Commission.

  • The starting salary of IAS (UPSC CSE) officers goes up to Pay Level 18.
  • Under the 10th pay level, the new joiners are paid INR 56,100/- along with various allowances.
  • There are allowances like House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and Travel Allowance (TA) which will be extra.
  • There are two years the probationary period to be posted in the allocated cadre as SDM.
