Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has updated the option for changing the examination center and optional subject for the HPAS Mains 2019 exam. The option is now available and will be shut from November 11.

HPPSC is set to conduct the HPAS Mains 2019 from December 1. The authority confirmed the news through an official notification on its official website on November 8. It is very unique in terms that this feature is made available only by HPPSC and not by any other Public Services Commission. Moreover, this is the first time that the HPAS Mains exam will be held in both the cities, Shimla as well as Dharamshala.

HPAS Mains 2019: Steps to Change Exam Center and Optional Subject

Candidates can now modify the allotted exam center and their optional subject by following the below-mentioned steps:

  • Go o the official website of HPPSC
  • Candidates are required to login to the website using the required details.
  • Alter the exam center and/or optional subject.
  • Proceed to save the changes in the exam application form.
  • Necessary changes will be made. Log out from the window.
  • Login with the provided credentials.
  • Change the exam center and the optional subject (if required).
  • Save the changes in the HPAS application 2019.
  • Log out from the application form window.

HPPSC Mains is the 2nd stage for getting selected for various posts in HPPSC. Candidates who clear the Prelims stage are only eligible to appear for the Mains exam. The Prelims exam was conducted on September 13 and the result of the same was declared on October 29. It is said that 549 candidates have qualified for the Mains exam.

HPAS exam is state-level conducted by HPPSC (Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission) to recruit various candidates for civil services posts. The exam is conducted in various stages including the Prelims exam, Mains exam and viva voce phase.
