The Bihar Public Service Commission has released the dates for BPSC 2020 registration process and the new exam dates for the Prelims. According to the latest notice, there are 562 vacancies in the various posts of the Bihar government and the exam will be conducted to fill up those posts this year. The candidates can apply for it through the official website and the exam will be conducted on December 27, 2020. Through this exam several posts will be filled up in the Bihar government. These posts include jail superintendent, state tax assistant commissioner, labour enforcement officer, block panchayati raj officer, food supply inspector and many more. To be eligible for the exam, the candidates should have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized college or university of the country. There is an age limit to the applicants as well as age relaxation according to the category and government rules.
The exam will be qualifying in nature and candidates have to qualify the Prelims exam with a minimum cut-off mark to be eligible for mains. Similarly, only those who qualify the mains will be called for the interview and eventually, the final merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by the aspirants in both mains and the interview round.
Apart from the BPSC 66th Prelims date announcement, the Commission has also announced the exam dates for the BPSC 65th Mains exam which got postponed due to the COVID-19 situation. The new exam dates are October 13, 14 and 20, 2020. There are 434 vacancies against which the recruitment will be accordingly done through this exam.
