On Sunday, October 18, the BSF entrance exam was conducted for recruitment to Border Security Force(BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) in Jammu and Kashmir union territory. Amid COVID-19 pandemic exam delivers a great enthusiasm amongst union territory candidates as a total of 30,000 candidates out of 34,000 sat for the entrance examination.
The entrance exam was conducted for recruitment to the post of constable (General Duty) in the BSF and the CISF. Earlier, a total of 34,000 aspirants qualified in physical endurance and physical standard tests.
Exam centres were allocated at BSF camps of both Jammu and Ladakh region. BSF Jammu, BSF Kashmir and STC BSF Srinagar took the responsibility for the smooth conduct of the examination.
Aspirants were hailing from 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir and two districts of Ladakh. Whole exam procedure was conducted abiding by the norms and standard operation procedure released by the central government and MHA.
