January 18, 2021: Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced on January 16, 2021, that the written examination paper conducted on January 9, 2021, - January 10, 2021, has been cancelled. The commission took this decision following the claims of the leak of question papers
There was news about the question papers and answers found on many mobile devices in some private colleges and institutes across the state. The examination was declared cancelled as soon as it came into the government's knowledge.
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister said, "It is our responsibility that only deserving candidates get appointed".

General Secretary of Congress Randeep Surjewala said that the Government accepted the false method used in the examination by cancelling the written exam. Later he added, around 10 lakhs candidates appeared for the exam, and the state government should pay Rs.5000 each to the appearing candidates as a compensation amount.
Haryana Congress Chief Kumari Selja has added that the wrong play happened during the examination and Haryana Government has accepted it by cancelling the papers.
The New dates are yet not announced by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission but will be announced soon on the HSSC website @hssc.gov.in. All the candidates are requested to visit the HSSC website frequently. A total of 10 lakhs candidates appeared for the written test exam on January 9-10.
