The Rajasthan Police Recruitment Board has declared the exam dates for constable recruitment (GD, Driver) and it is going to be held on November 6-8, 2020. Earlier the exam was tentatively scheduled for May but got postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Through this recruitment drive, the aim is to fill up 5438 vacancies in 59 Units. According to the Director General of Police, Rajasthan, Bhupendra Singh, the exam will be conducted after taking all the necessary precautions and safety protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The candidates have to qualify the objective type written test in order to be eligible for the Physical Efficiency Test and the Physical Standard Test. There are 150 questions in the written test and have to be completed in 2 hours. The total marks are 75 and there is a negative marking of 0.25% marks per the wrong answer. Topics from general awareness and general knowledge, current affairs, computer and logical reasoning, general science, social science, law provisions for crimes especially against children and women, economics and politics of Rajasthan are some of the main topics that are asked.
Once you qualify the written test, and the PET and PST, you will go through document verification and eventually the final selection will be done.
