Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu has released a notification for the recruitment of the candidates for the posts of Senior/Junior House Officers. According to the notification, 105 vacancies are available and the interested candidates can apply for the above said posts from November 2 until November 30, 2020.

GMC Jammu Recruitment 2020: Vacancies Available
There are nearly 105 vacancies that are available for the post of Senior/Junior House Officers i.e, Physicians and Surgeons under the Associated Hospitals, Government Medical College, Jammu.
The vacancy is available in the following departments given below.
- Department of Blood Bank,
- Department of Dermatology,
- Department of ENT,
- Department of Psychiatry,
- Department of Radiotherapy,
- Department of CTVS,
- Department of Chest Diseases,
- Department of Anesthesiology,
- Department of Cardiology,
- Department of Radio-Diagnosis,
- Department of Surgery,
- Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics,
- Department of Orthopedics,
- Department of Medicine, and
- Department of Cardio-Thoracic Anesthesia.
The Candidates are recruited for the above-said posts, for only six months for the session of January- June 2021.

- Only the medical graduates will be allowed to apply for the above said posts.
- Candidates who are working as a medical intern are eligible to apply for Junior House Officers.

Candidates can follow the steps provided below to apply for the GMC Jammu Recruitment 2020.
- Visit the official website of GMC, Jammu
- Download the application form available on the homepage
- Fill the necessary details on the application form
- Submit the form at the Office of the Medical Superintendent, SMGS Hospital
- Pay INR 50 as the application fee
The application forms must be submitted at the office of the medical superintendent, before December 15, 2020.

GMC Jammu Recruitment 2020: Selection Process
The Selection process comprises a written examination followed by the counseling process. The written examination will be conducted on December 24, 2020, in the Auditorium at SMGS Hospital, Jammu. Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be called for the counseling process which is scheduled to be conducted on December 29, 2020.
Candidates have to compulsorily attend the written examination to be eligible for the counseling process. In case any candidate fails to appear for the exam of GMC Jammu Recruitment 2020, his candidature will be rejected.
