The Staff Selection Commission or SSC has revised the exam dates and changed the date for SSC CPO 2020 Paper-II. Earlier it was scheduled for July 12, 2021. But as per the revised dates, it has been brought earlier to March 1, 2021. Only the candidates who qualify SSC CPO Paper-I will be eligible for the Paper-II. The SSC Central Police Organization Exam is conducted every year to recruit eligible candidates in the police service as Sub-Inspector or SI for different departments under CPO. This include Delhi Police, ITBP, CAPF, BSF etc.
The SSC CPO Paper-II comprises of 200 marks objective type questions on English language and Comprehension. The aspirant will get 2 hours to complete the paper and there will be a 0.25 marks deduction for every wrong answer. Unattempted questions will not be counted for negative marking. The paper is designed to test the candidate’s understanding and fluency In English language. This is done through questions like fill in the blanks, error recognition, phrases and idioms, comprehension, grammar, structure, synonyms and antonyms etc. Also read- IAF Airman recruitment 2021
Those who qualify the exam will have to go through the medical examination in the next stage which will be done by the medical officers of CAPF or any other medical officer or Assistant Surgeon in Grade-I of Central or State Government. The SSC CPO Paper-I will be conducted from November 23-26, 2020 and the admit card will be released in October. The exam dates for SSC CPO Paper-II 2019 has been declared too. All these exams have been postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
