RRB NTPC exam dates to be declared soon- recruitment for 35,208 vacancies

The Railway Recruitment Board or RRB is going to declare the exam dates soon. The last date for technical bids is August 17, 2020 and it had started from August 3, 2020. The admit cards for the exam will be released four days before the exam date. There are approximately 1.26 crore candidates who are waiting for the exam to be conducted for the past 1 year. The vacancy available is 35, 208. The posts which are recruited for through this exam include accounts clerk cum typist, Station master, Commercial Apprentice, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Goods Guard, Traffic assistant to name a few.

The bids for Exam Conducting Agency or ECA were opened from August 3, 2020 and the last date for online bid will be August 17, 2020. The process is being sped up as much as possible to complete the recruitment for the posts for graduate and undergraduate levels.

Some of the significant guidelines for this year exam includes the mandatory measure for candidates to wear a mask during the exam. Sanitization of the exam centres will be conducted after every shift. To ensure social distancing, the number of candidates for every exam centre is also going to be cut-down significantly. All these steps are taken, keeping in mind the COVID-19 guidelines.

The first stage of the RRB NTPC exam is qualifying in nature and conducted in the CBT format. The exam duration is 90minutes for all candidates and 120 minutes for PwBD candidates along with their scribe. The topics include general awareness, maths, and general intelligence and reasoning. There are 100 objective type questions and the standard is equivalent to class 10, 12 and graduation level.
