January 28, 2021: Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has announced the SEBI Grade A Phase 1 2021 result on its official website

The Board held the SEBI Grade A Phase 1 examination in offline mode at various exam centers on January 17, 2021. Aspirants who manage to clear Phase 1 are then required to appear for Phase 2. The second phase will be conducted on February 27, 2021.

SEBI Grade A Phase 1: Steps to Check and Download the Result

Candidates who appeared for phase 1 can check the result in the following manner:

  • Step 1: Visit the SEBI official website i.e.,
  • Step 2: On the homepage itself, go to the ‘Careers’ tab. 
  • Step 3: Click on the result link that says ‘SEBI Recruitment Exercise for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) 2020 – Results of Phase I online exam held on January 17, 2021.
  • Step 4: A new page will be displayed where the candidate will be required to click on the respective stream (General, Legal, IT, Civil, Electrical, Research & Official Language).
  • Step 5: The result screen will appear.
  • Step 6: Download the result pdf and check the roll number if its there. Print the result for further reference.

SEBI Grade A Phase 2: Exam Pattern and Details

Paper Stream Maximum Marks Duration Cut-Off
Paper I All streams: English (Descriptive Test) to test the drafting skills 100 60 minutes 30%
Paper-II General Stream: Multiple choice questions on subjects Commerce, Accountancy, Management, Finance, Costing, Companies Act and Economics 100 40 minutes 40%
Legal, Engineering Stream (Civil & Electrical) and Official Language stream: Multiple choice questions on Specialized subject related to the stream. 100 40 minutes 40%
Research Stream:- Multiple choice questions on subjects Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, and Commerce.
Aggregate Cut off 40%
