DSSSB or Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board is inviting applications for various departments of GNCT of Delhi. It has released the notification for 110 Vacancies of 7 Posts. The last date of application form submission is March 1, 2019. 

  • The registration for DSSSB Recruitment 2019 has begun from January 31, 2019.
  • Candidates can submit their applications through ONLINE MODE at http://dsssbonline.nic.in. No other mode of application will be accepted. Click here to apply
  • The applications fee is INR 100. There is NO FEE for women, SC, ST, PwD and Ex-serviceman category candidates.
  • Selection is done through Tier 1 and Two 2 Examination scheme and Skill Test, wherever applicable.
  • Final selection is based on overall performance of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for any of the above posts must be an Indian National. The complete eligibility criteria prescribed by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) are given below. 

Qualifying Criteria:

Lower Division Clerk in DPCC 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.)
Stenographer Gr.-II in DPCC Passed 12th or equivalent under 10+2 system from a recognized Board. Speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. typewriting in English. Or Speed or 80 w.p.m in shorthand and 35 w.p.m. typewriting in Hindi.
Jr. Lab Assistant in DPCC Passed class 12 with science stream from a recognized Board with three years experience in laboratory works Or Degree in Science from a recognized university/institution
Legal Assistant in DPCC Law degree from a recognized university
Scientific Assistant in DPCC Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized Institution or University
Junior Environmental Engineer in DPCC Engineering degree in Environment/Civil from a recognized University. OR 3 years Diploma in Engineering in Environment / Civil and 3 years experience in pollution control activity/sewerage works
Welfare Officer/ Probation Officer/ Prison Welfare Officer Masters degree in Social work or Master of Art (Sociology) or Post Graduate Degree in Criminology from a recognized university/Institute

Required Experience:

Jr. Lab Assistant in DPCC - Candidates should have minimum of 3 years of working experience in required laboratory works.

Legal Assistant in DPCC - Applicants should have at least 3 years experience as Legal Practitioner or one year experience in Legal Work in a Government Department.

Junior Environmental Engineer in DPCC - 3 years experience in pollution control activity/sewerage works is required in case of Diploma.

Age Limit and Relaxation:

  • For Lower Division Clerk, Stenographer and Jr. Lab Assistant - 18 to 27 years
  • For Legal Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Junior Environmental Engineer and Welfare Officer - Not exceeding 30 Years

How to Apply?

The registration for DSSSB recruitment 2019 is done through online mode only. There is any other way to apply. The application forms are now available on the official website. Last date of registration is March 1, 2019. Applicants have to pay an application fee of INR 100 at the time of application form submission. The application fee will be paid through SBI e-pay.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Visit the official website i.e. dsssbonline.nic.in.
  2. Click on the link “Click for New Registration
  3. Enter your DOB, 10th Roll Number and 10th Passing Year 
  4. Click on submit button
  5. Fill the application form with all the required information
  6. Upload all the necessary documents and submit application fee

Note: Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Disability & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying Application fee

Selection Criteria

  • Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their performance in their last qualifying exams are called for written test.
  • Candidates are selected on the basis of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Examination.
  • Applicants also have to appear for Skill Test (wherever applicable).
  • Students have to score equal or more than cut off marks to successfully qualify the exam.
  • Candidates who will successfully qualify all the stages of selection process are considered for the recruitment.

Expected Cut Off

The below table represents the minimum qualifying marks of Tier 1 and Tier 2. Applicants have to score minimum qualifying marks to successfully qualify the exam.

Important Instructions

  • Students must carry them admit card at the examination center.
  • The exam will be conducted in various exam centers of Delhi NCR only.
  • There is no provision of re-checking of Answer Sheets in respect of the examinations conducted by DSSSB.
  • Negative marking is also applicable. 0.25 Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
