October 30, 2020: Bihar state university service commission (BSUSC) is more likely to extend the application dates for 4638 Assistant Professor Post in 52 Subjects. The final decision on BSUSC Recruitment 2020 date extension will be made today, October 30, 2020, by BSUSC.
The Bihar state university service commission (BSUSC) has started the recruitment process for Assistant Professor posts on September 23, 2020. Earlier, the last date announced by the commission to fill up the online application form was November 2, 2020.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic and upcoming state assembly elections in the state, interested candidates who wish to apply are unable to procure the required documents for the BSUSC Recruitment 2020 application process.
Referring to students’ queries and BSUSC Recruitment 2020 application process, Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) said, "Due to puja, pandemic, and elections, procuring certificates and documents is very difficult, as officials are not available. We have urged the commission to extend the date by at least 30-40 days”.
“Even getting a caste and income certificate is difficult. There are many others who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis, but viva is still awaited due to the non-availability of reports from experts. Others are struggling to submit their thesis" the commission further added.
Keeping in mind the request made by candidates for extending the BSUSC Recruitment 2020 application dates, the commission decided to extend the application dates.
Referring to their decision, commission chairman Dr. Rajvardhan Azad’s official statement stated that the authority is considering the request of students, the final decision on date extension will be made on October 30, 2020.
Bihar's several universities, colleges, and educational institutions are now facing issues due to less number of staff. The issues arise due to delay in the BSUSC Recruitment 2020 process.
During the BSUSC Recruitment 2020 period, vacancies were intaken due to the retirement of staff. Due to the delay in the recruitment process, many colleges and universities in Bihar state are now running without any teachers or just one or two staff members.
Earlier, the BPSC has started the recruitment process for 3364 Vacancies in 2014. The interview process for the same was scheduled to be conducted in 2015 and was stretched up to 2020.
