Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) 2020 exam has been postponed till further notice. Abiding by the orders of the Higher officials of HPPSC, HPPSC has issued an official notice stating that the HPPSC exam scheduled on November 29 will be cancelled and is accordingly being postponed.
The decision was taken after the positive report for COVID-19 of seven officials of the HPPSC board surfaced publicly. The exam was supposed to be conducted via pen-paper mode. HPTET exams were conducted for recruitment to the post of teacher in Himachal Pradesh government schools.

HPTET 2020 exam is conducted twice a year. HPTET is conducted for eligibility analysis of aspirants for the post of Teacher in Himachal Pradesh government schools. HP TET session one was conducted earlier in the month of September. The exam was actually postponed due to a nation-wise imposed lockdown due to an upsurge in COVID-19 cases.HPTET is conducted in offline mode. This year exam centres have accordingly increased to maintain the protocols of social distancing.
