State Bank of India (SBI) has invited candidates for the appointment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. Total 8,301 posts are released for this position.   • Candidates interested are required to apply online before February 10, 2018 on the official website
  • The emoluments for the clerical cadre would be about INR 23,600 per month inclusive of DA for cities like Mumbai.

SBI Clerk Junior Associate - Eligibility criteria

  • Candidates in the age group of 20 – 28 years as on January 1, 2018 are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates ought to meet the necessary nationality requirement along with the basic educational qualification of a graduate degree. Only degrees from recognized universities/ institutes would be accepted for the port.
  • Extensions of age limit for various reserved categories as applicable in government extant rules are applicable.

Age Limit:

The candidate must not be less than or more than 28 years. Further, is the relaxation of age as follows:

How to Apply for SBI Clerk 2018 (Junior Associate)?

Guidelines for Online Application

Candidates interested are required to apply online before February 10, 2018 on the official website The direct link to apply for SBI Clerk is also available on the official notification on the website. Candidates are again advised to go through the detailed notification before filling the online application forms. Candidates found not meeting the eligibility criteria would be rejected.

Following are the steps to apply online for SBI Clerk 2018:

  1. Candidates log on to
  2. Go to "Recruitment of Junior Associates"
  3. Read the information carefully & Click on "Apply Online"
  4. Click on Registration and fill in the details
  5. Pay the requisite application fee (INR 600 for general, INR 100 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
  6. Fill the details in the application & submit the Form.

Note: Candidates must have their e-mail ID and contact number so that communication of events become possible for the examination.

Payment of Fees

  1. Candidates require to keep their signatures and photograph in digital form according to the particulars in Annexure II of the official website notice.
  2. Visit official website of SBI i.e.
  3. Go to ‘Current Openings’
  4. Fill the application form carefully.
  5. Candidates are required to pay the fees through the payment gateway. It could be done through Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.
  6. Take the print out of the e-receipt and the application form.

SBI Clerk Junior Associate - Exam Pattern

The syllabus of the Prelims Exam and that of the Mains Exam is more or less the same and candidates with strong understanding of concepts in English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness will be able to hold a better position in the examination.

SBI Clerk Junior Associate - Admit Card

Registered candidates will be required to download SBI Clerk Admit Card 2018 from the official website of State Bank of India as the hard copy of the SBI Clerk admit card won’t be couriered to applicants. The admit card for SBI Clerk Exam 2018 will be released in two stages - admit card for preliminary exam, the admit card for mains exam. For Prelims admit card will be available from June first week. For mains exam admit card will be released in July last week. 

  • One must login to their account created while filling in the online application form and download the admit card.
  • Login on the career page of SBI, for which the candidate is required to fill the Registration Number/Roll Number, Date of Birth/Password.
  • The admit card for SBI Clerk 2018 exam will be issued to candidates in two phases i.e. for Preliminary Exam and for Mains Exam.
