SBI Clerk Exam is conducted to recruit candidates for clerical post in various branches of State Bank of India. It is conducted in two phases-Preliminary exam and Main exam. SBI Clerk Preliminary exam has 100 questions for 100 marks while SBI clerk Mains Exam consists of 190 questions for maximum of 200 marks. It has to be attempted in a total of 160 minutes. As candidates can observe, most questions are related to financial and Banking Industry. Full forms of schemes and organizations, location of wildlife sanctuaries, dams and headquarters are asked. Read and Memorize: There are some basic areas which one needs to cover while preparing Financial Awareness for SBI Clerk. Majorly the questions happen to be from these areas. These are items relating to:
Update Yourself: Out of 50 questions, around 30 question belong to current affairs and 20 questions are from Static GK. The thumb rule is to read current affairs of three months prior to the date of examination.

Abbreviations and Acronyms: Learn abbreviations and acronyms and their full forms especially related to ministries, insurance, taxations, institutions and other financial world.

Start Early and Study Regularly: unlike other sections which has various methods, tricks and formulas to solve the question that can be learnt in a short period of time, General and Financial awareness section requires more time and revision.
