The online application process of SBI Clerk 2020 has already started from January 3, 2020. Many candidates might be facing issues while filling the application form. To sort their problems SBI has given clear guidelines to fill SBI Clerk Application Form to avoid any further discrepancy.

SBI Clerk Photo Specifications

The applicants must strictly adhere to the instructions related to the photograph. And the instructions are-

  • Recent passport-sized coloured picture is to be attached.
  • The photo must be taken in a white/light background.
  • Make sure that there is no shadow in the photograph.
  • If you have used flash, make sure that there is no red-eye.
  • If you wear spectacles, be careful that there is no reflection in the image, your eyes should be visible.
  • Avoid wearing any such thing (goggles, cap, etc.) that hides your face.

SBI Clerk Signature Image Specifications

Once the applicant has uploaded the photograph, he/she will have to upload a scanned image of the signature. Guidelines for the signature are as follows:

  • The signature must be done with a black ballpoint pen on a white paper.
  • The signature should be done by the candidates itself, not with any other person as the signature will be placed on the call letter. If the signature on the answer sheet didn't match with the signature on call letter, candidates would be disqualified.
  • The signature must be done with running hand, signature in the capital letter will not be acceptable.

Guidelines to Scan the Photograph and Signature

  • Set the resolution of the scanner to a minimum of 200 dots per inch and colour to “True”.
  • Make sure to set the size of the images as per the specifications mentioned above. If anything varies, crop the image before final scanning.
  • Candidates using MS Office can easily get the image in .jpeg format by using MS Paint and MS Office Picture Manager.

Procedure to Upload Image and Signature in SBI Clerk Application Form

  • While filing the application form, the candidate will find an option to upload the scanned copy of the photo and signature.
  • There will be two different links, one for uploading photograph and another for signature.
  • Click on the respective links to browse the file from the location where you have saved the file.
  • Select the file which you have to upload.
  • Click “Open” to upload the image in the respective links.

Important Note- Candidates must check that they have uploaded both the scanned copies appropriately. If they find any uncertainty, they may re-edit and upload the images again. If they fail to do so, their application is liable to be rejected. Once the candidates are done with the filling of the application form, they must take a print out of the generated application form. ​​​​​​​

State Bank of India (SBI) is conducting SBI Clerk Recruitment 2020 for selecting the candidates against the 8134 vacancies for Junior Associates. SBI Clerk Preliminary exam will be held on February 20, 2020(tentative date). The eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2020 must be checked by the candidates before filling the application form. In case the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, their application will be rejected.
