RBI Assistant Mains Exam was conducted today in a single slot. The main examination is comprised of 200 questions which will be asked from the subjects namely Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Check RBI Assistant Mains Cut off 

  • The difficulty of RBI Assistant 2017 was Moderate to Difficult.
  • One RC was based on Japan's National Bank. One of the RC consisted of Synonym/ Antonym while other involved Phrase based questions.
  • Inequality - 5 questions were asked from this topic. Check RBI Assistant Analysis
  • Miscellaneous - Questions were also asked from Direction sense in this topic.
  • Questions of General awareness were comparatively difficult.
  • RBI Assistant 2017 Result will be declared in April 2018 (tentative).

With the help of the answer key, students can analyze their performance and calculate their marks. Answer key will be released before the final result declaration. It will be published online on the official website of RBI.

RBI Assistant 2017 Mains Analysis

After clearing the mains exam students have to appear for an interview. RBI Mains exam was conducted from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The paper was comprised of five sections. Except the English language section, all the sections were available in bilingual i.e. both in English and Hindi.

  • This section was Difficult. The pattern of the English paper has changed completely.
  • In the spotting error topic, different sentences were given in the question and students have to identify correct or incorrect sentences among them
  • Reading Comprehension have question from Synonyms/ Antonym and they also have phrase-based questions

General Awareness

  • The difficulty level of this section was easy. The section contains questions from Current Affairs, Static and Banking.
  • 10-15 questions were asked from Banking and 15-20 questions were asked from Current Affairs. Students can easily attempt at least 25 questions with good accuracy.

Computer Knowledge

  • This section was quite difficult. Students must have basic knowledge about computers.
  • The questions were based on Internet, Microsoft Office, Networking, Hardware and Software.

RBI Assistant 2017 Mains Expected Cut off

After the completion of the exam, cut off will be released by RBI. With the help of cut off marks, students can easily estimate whether they are eligible for admission or not. Cut off marks are the minimum marks required by the candidate to qualify the exam.

Cut off marks will be decided on the basis of following factors:

  • Difficulty level of the exam
  • Total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • Availability of Seats
  • Total numbers of candidates pass the exam
  • Reservation Norms
  • Previous year cut off marks
