Directorate of School Education, Puducherry has finally released the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage 1 Application Form for the academic year 2020-21. Students can apply for the NTSE Puducherry 2021 till November 15, 2020.
Students who are currently studying in Class X from a recognized State/Central Government schools in Puducherry or the students studying in the Govt/Govt. Aided/Private Unaided schools are eligible to apply for the scholarship examination.
Apart from those students, the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) awardees are also eligible to apply for the NTSE exam.

The scheduled NTSE exam will be held on December 13, 2020, and the admit card for the said exam will be released on December 4, 2020. The students can avail of their exam admit cards from their respective schools.

NTSE Puducherry 2021: Exam Syllabus
The NTSE exam syllabus will consist of the portions taken from class IX and class X up to December. It will also have the syllabus from the state board subjects like Mathematics, Science, and Social Science.

NTSE Puducherry 2021: Exam Pattern
Usually, the NTSE exam has separate question booklets as Part-I for (Mental Ability Test) and Part-II for (Scholastic Aptitude Test). The students are required to answer all the questions.

NTSE Puducherry 2021: Results
The NTSE Puducherry exam 2021 results will be declared by SCERT Puducherry between January and March 2021. Around 20 students, i.e, (11-General, 1-EWS, 5-OBC, and 3-SC) will be shortlisted based on the merit obtained in the written examination.
Only the shortlisted students will be able to take part in the national level NTSE Stage-II examination. The students who qualify the NTSE Stage-II will be awarded the NTSE scholarship.
Students who are selected in the State-level examination are awarded INR 5,000 and the students who are shortlisted in the National-level examination are awarded INR 10,000 as one-time incentive by the Puducherry UT Government.
