NTSE 2019 Admit Card for Stage-1 will be available in the month of September/October 2018 while that for Stage-2 will be made available in April 2019.  NTSE Admit Cards will be issued by the respective state’s Department of Education and will be made available through the website of the respective state.

There are 2 stages to NTSE 2019, wherein the exam for Stage 1 will take place in the month of November 2018. However, NTSE 2019 exam for stage-2 will be held in May 2019. Stage 1 will be conducted by the respective State Authorities. All information regarding NTSE Admit Card will be available with Liaison officer of the State/Chief Superintendent of the state.

In case of any discrepancy noted in NTSE hall tickets, it should be brought to the notice of State Liaison/Chief Superintendent of state at the earliest. NTSE will declare NTSE 2019 Result for Stage-1 in January 2019. NTSE is conducted to search the talented candidates in subjects like Science, Social Science, Mathematics and General Studies. According to their performance, candidates are given scholarships.


NTSE 2019 Admit Card Dates

Tentatively, NTSE Admit Cards will be made available in the month of October (2019) for Stage 1. These admit cards can be collected by visiting the office of the State Liaison Office. Please visit your respective state’s Directorate of Education/State Council of Education Research and Training and the NCERT website to read important updates about the Scholarship Scheme.

How to download NTSE 2019 Admit Card ?

All students who have successfully registered will be able to get their admit cards for Stage 1 exam by post/offline mode from the respective state’s government’s education department.The hard copy of the hall ticket will also be sent via post by the Chief Superintendent of the state. Students can contact their respective state department’s Liaison Officer to know when they will be able to download/receive by post the admit card for Stage 1. Stage 2 admit cards will be made available by post to all students who qualify for it.

Steps to download NTSE 2019 Stage 1 Admit Cards

Admit card for the Stage 1 exam will be available in the month of October 2018. Students will have to contact their State’s Liaison officer to obtain their admit card. Stage 2 admit cards will be made available to only those student who qualify for it. Students can follow the steps given below to download their Stage 1 admit cards:

  1. Visit the Directorate of Government Examinations/SCERT official website
  2. Go to Bulletin Tab/Quick links section.
  3. Click on link for NTSE hall tickets
  4. Candidates will have to log in with school code and password
  5. The admit card/hall ticket will be displayed
  6. Download and take a print out for future reference
  7. Candidates are requested to check their details on the admit card carefully
  8. Students will also get their admit card by post.
  9. If a student does not receive her/his admit card, they need to contact the State’s Liaison Officer.

Important Instructions regarding NTSE 2019 Admit Card

Once the registration is completed successfully, a Roll Number will be allotted to candidates. NTSE call letters will be issued at the office of Chief Superintendent (the State Liaison Officer) of the concerned state or will be made available by post.

Admit cards should be obtained in advance so as to avoid any last minute rush.

Stage 2 NTSE admit cards will be mailed only to those candidates who qualify for the stage. They will be directly mailed to the candidates via post by NCERT.


Details on NTSE 2019 Admit Card

NTSE admit card will mention important details about the candidate and about the exam. Details mentioned will be, name of the candidate appearing in the exam as well as about the examination including timing and exam center.

Candidates should double check if all the information mentioned on the admit card is correct. In case of any mistake/discrepancy in NTSE Admit Card, it should be brought to the notice of the Liaison officer or to the office of the Chief Superintendent immediately. Students should not wait till the day of the exam to get it rectified.

NTSE 2019 Exam Centers

NTSE 2019 exam is held across 36 exam centers. Each state will have its own test center. Candidates will be allowed to select the exam centers as per their preferences. Information like the test center address will be mentioned on the admit card that will be issued to candidates. Once the test center is allotted, it will not be changed. Students should choose their test centers carefully.

It is best to visit the exam center a few days before the exam to understand its location and whereabouts clearly. Students should make sure they reach the exam center at least an hour before the allotted time on the day of the exam.

Documents Required with NTSE 2019 Admit Card

Along with the NTSE admit card, students should carry along the following documents in case you need to verify identity/candidature etc. You can carry along the following documents/ids.

  • School Identity card
  • Dependent Identity card
  • Passport
  • Aadhar card

NTSE 2019 Exam Day Instructions

Following are the various guidelines that candidates must follow while appearing for NTSE 2019 exam.

  • Candidates will have to answer through the OMR sheets.
  • Please use HB/2B pencils or blue/black ball point pen for marking. Do not use gel/fountain pens.
  • Make sure to colour/darken the bubbles completely. Do not just put a tick or a cross mark in the bubble.
  • Reach the examination hall well before the allotted time/start of the exam (at least 1 hr. in advance).
  • Candidates will only be allowed to carry their admit card and pens and pencils and water bottles inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates are not permitted to use any electronic devices like calculators, mobile phones etc.
  • Any candidates found with illicit materials will be immediately disbarred from writing the exam.
  • To know more about/query about the Stage 1 (state-level) examination you may approach the Liaison officer of your state/UT.
