The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will conduct the NTSE exam 2021 with the revised syllabus of class 10th. The application process for the 2-stage exam is opened and students can apply on the official website ncert.nic.in/national-talent-examination.php.

Earlier, the Board released the dates for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) exam 2021. Stage I of the exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 12 and 13 in offline mode. The syllabus for the exam will include the whole syllabus of class 9 and the new revised syllabus of class 10. The exams will take place according to the guidelines of NCERT.

DP Jalori, the Board chairman stated that students will be able to apply for the exams from their respective schools. He also added that though the syllabus has been cut down for class 10 but the basic principles and theories will be included in the NTSE exam.

NTSE 2021: Eligibility Criteria

  • For Stage I
  • He/she must be a citizen of India.
  • Students in class 10th can also apply for the exam
  • The candidate studying in class 10th must have passed the class 9th examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
  • The candidate must have attained a degree that is well-recognized by the Board.
  • The candidate must be below the age of 18 years and unemployed. They must be registered under Open Distance Learning.
  • For Stage II
  • The candidate must have scored a minimum of 80% in the state board.
  • He/she must have cleared stage I of NTSE at the state level.

About NTSE 2021

NTSE is a national level competitive exam conducted every year for awarding scholarships to meritorious and deserving students of class 10th. The exam is conducted in 2 stages and students who qualify in the 2nd stage are offered scholarships of variable amounts.
