NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is conducted annually at two levels – Stage I at State-level and Stage II at National-level, wherein the state level stage is conducted by the State Authority and National level stage is conducted by NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). The test is aimed at identifying meritorious students studying in class X in order to shortlist deserving students who can be awarded scholarships/financial assistance at different stages of their higher education.

AP NTSE 2017-2018 Question Paper

The NTSE Stage I question Paper is split into 3 sections: Language Comprehension Test, Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Ability test. The distribution of questions and the maximum Marks per section is indicated below:

AP NTSE 2017-2018 Answer Key

NTSE answer keys with correct solutions for each paper of different subjects was published on the official website, by the examination authority soon after the scheduled exam date. The answer key for NTSE Nov, 2017 was published in PDF format. Candidates also had the opportunity to access their individual OMR sheets uploaded on the website and match them against official answer key

The examination authority allowed candidates to challenge the answer key with substantial proof to back the challenge. The final answer key was published after considering all the objections raised by candidates. The final answer key can be downloaded from here for reference.

AP NTSE 2017-2018 Cut-Off Scores

Cutoff Score is the minimum score required by candidates in NTSE Stage I in order to qualify for Stage II national-level exam. The scores depend on several factors like total candidates appearing for the test, difficulty level of the question paper, previous year’s cut-off scores, etc. NTSE cutoff scores are released soon after result declaration separately for each candidate category.
