This is a Non-ministerial and a permanent post under General central Service of Group ‘A’ Gazetted. The duty of the Officer will be to prepare authenticated translation of Statutory Rules and Regulation, Central Statutes etc. in Bengali language and to give general assistance to Legislative Counsel (Official Languages Wing) and Joint Secretary. The post is suitable for the Physically Challenged Persons with following disability
Rs. 15,600/- to 39,100/- (PB – 3) and Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- (T.E. Rs. 47,250/- Approx.) Plus T.A. and HRA as admissible
Candidates with Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with Bengali language as a subject or medium at the degree level and 5 years’ experience of legislative drafting in Bengali language in the Central or State Government are desired over others.

The candidates are required to upload the following set of documents and present the printouts of the same to the Commission at the time of interview:
I) In case of marriage of a woman - Photocopy of an attested copy of marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriage /Husband’s passport showing names of spouses / an Affidavit from husband and wife along with a joint photograph duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner
ii) In case of re-marriage of a woman - Divorce Deed/Death certificate as the case may be in respect of first spouse, an attested copy of marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriage / photocopy of present husband’s passport showing names of spouse /an Affidavit from the husband and wife along with joint photograph duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner
iii) In case of divorce of women - Affidavit duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner/ Certified copy of Divorce Decree and Deed Poll.
Note: In other cases of name change for both male and female - Affidavit duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner/ Deed Poll and paper cuttings of two leading daily newspaper in original (One daily newspaper should be of the area of applicants permanent and present address or nearby area) and Gazette Notification will be entertained.
Candidates are selected for the said post on the basis of their performance in the interview.
The candidate is shortlisted for the process of interview on the basis of the information provided by him/her in the online application form.
The questions in the interview shall be based on the candidate’s academic background, work experience and the hold on the field.
If the details provided in the form are incorrect, the candidature of the applicant is liable to be rejected .They may also be debarred either permanently or for some specified time only by the commission from any exam/ selection held by them and by the Central Government from any employment under them.
