Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released a recruitment notification inviting applicants for the posts of Assistant Engineers and other posts. Interested candidates who meet the requisite eligibility criteria can visit the official upsc website and apply online till December 31, 2020. UPSC is conducting this recruitment drive to recruit eligible candidates for the 34 vacant posts in the organization.

UPSC Recruitment 2020: Eligibility Criteria & Vacancy Details 

Interested candidates who are going to apply for the Assistant Engineers posts in UPSC organization can follow the table below to know the eligibility criteria and vacancy details for the same.

Assistant Legal Advisor  2 posts  Candidates must be a law graduate with 3 years of experience at bar dealing with fiscal laws or criminal laws or someone with 1 year experience and a master's degree 
Medical physicist  4 posts  Candidates must have completed PG in Physics or Msc or BSc or diploma in Medical physics/radiological or someone who's done a 12 months internship from a recognized Radiation Therapy Department 
Public prosecutor  10 posts  Candidates must be a law graduate with 7 years of experience as an advocate in the state judicial service or legal department of state or central government 
Assistant Engineer  18 posts  Candidates must have an electrical degree with 1 year experience

UPSC Recruitment 2020: Selection Process 

The selection for the UPSC Recruitment 2020 will be done either through a recruitment exam followed by thr interview. It will be conducted based on the category-wise and candidates will be selected based on their marks obtained. Out of the total 100 marks, UR/EWS candidates will have to score 50 marks, OBC candidates are required to score 40 marks, and the candidates from SC/PH/ST will have to score 40 marks.

UPSC Recruitment 2020: Application Fee Details 

Candidates are required to pay INR 25 through the net banking process to submit the UPSC application form. While the candidates from SC/ST/PH/Women categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
