UPSC IES/ISS 2020 result- Check the Score card and Expected Cut-off

The Union Public Service Commission will release the IES/ISS 2020 result soon after the exam is conducted. The result will be available on the official website after every stage of the exam is completed. It will be available in the PDF format and candidates will have to visit the official website to get the result. Meanwhile, we have shared a few important dates related to the exam and also the expected cut-off marks for the same. Also read- IES application process begins

The following are the steps to view the result:

  • Go to the official website of UPSC
  • Click on the “written exam” tab on the right-hand side of the home page.
  • Select the option “examination written result” and under it, look for “UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2020”
  • Do note, the link for the result will be updated only after the exam has commenced.
  • By clicking on the link, you will find the pdf of all the results and download it for future reference.
  • Using ctrl+f you can find whether your roll number is there on the result sheet.

The cut-off of the exam will be released after the final result is out for all the stages. However, it can be guessed from the previous year trends. The cut-off can vary for several reasons like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates appearing for the exam etc.

  • The previous year cut-off for IES prelims was 399/1000 and 547/1200 for general category.
  • For ISS, the previous year cut-off was 432/1000 and 589/1200 for general category.

Keeping all these details in mind will help the candidates to find out whether they have qualified for the exam and search the result easily once it is out.
