January 5, 2021: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the reserve list for the UPSC Civil Services Results 2019 today, i.e on January 4, 2021. Candidates who have appeared for the UPSC Civil Service Exams 2019 can check the results available online @upsc.gov.in. Earlier, the commission released the results for the UPSC Mains Exam on August 4, 2020, in which 829 candidates were qualified for the appointment.
It has been notified by the UPSC that a total of 89 candidates were recommended, in which 73 for general, 14 for OBC, 01 for SC, 01 for EWS, to fill up the remaining vacant posts based on the performance of the Civil Service Exam 2019. The recommended candidates will be intimated directly by the DOP&T.
On October 17, 2020, the mark sheet was released and a total of 829 candidates had qualified this year for the services of IAS, IRS, IPS, and Other Central Group A & B across the country. Out of the total qualified candidates, 304 are from General, 251 from OBC, 78 from EWS, 129 from SC, and 67 from ST.
Recently, the UPSC has released the admit card for the UPSC Civil Service Exam 2020, which will be conducted on January 8, 9, 10, 16, and 17, 2021 in 2 shifts, i.e Morning Session will commence from 9 AM to 12 noon and the afternoon session will begin from 2 PM to 5 PM. Only the qualified candidates from the UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Exam are required to appear for the UPSC Civil Service Mains Exam 2020.
