UPSC has released notification inviting eligible candidates for filling up of assistant commandant posts in CISF. The recruitment exam will be held on March 4 to fill 29 vacancies. Candidates can check the detailed notification at upsc.gov.in

Age limit: Candidate must be born on or after August 2, 1983. Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per Government rules.
As per the released notification, the tentative vacancies is 29 which are further divided category wise as per the Government of India rules.

The exams consist of 2 papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper-1 will be General Awareness and Intelligence test and Paper 2 will be English Proficiency test.

Paper 2 is conducted to check candidate’s writing skills. They will be asked to write essays, precis and comprehension
Selection Process involves a written test followed by physical test and medical standard test. Both the tests are qualifying in nature and will be conducted by CISF
