December 1, 2020: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released a notification inviting applications for recruitment for the posts of Assistant Registrars and Security Officers. The recruitment is taking place to fill in 21 vacancies for the Assistant Registrar and Security Officer post. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the recruitment on the commission’s official website @ignou.ac.in.
The maximum age of the candidate can be 42 years. The deadline for the submission of the application is December 31, 2020.
Candidate must have a Masters Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed
Candidate must have a Masters Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the UGC seven-point scale.
The candidate must be a released Short Service Commissioned Officer or serving as such after having completed their initial period of assignment of 5 years of military service. Also, the candidate’s case of Ministry of Defence certificate should have been released within 3 months of their selection and from the date of receipt of an offer of appointment.
