The Haryana Civil Service Exam (executive branch) 2008, rules have been amended by the state government as confirmed on Wednesday.
Civil service exams on a state level are conducted all over the country and they have rules which are more or less similar to the central civil service exam or IAS conducted by UPSC. The new set of rules for Haryana civil service will be called Haryana Civil Service Exam (executive branch) 2020, according to a press release by the Haryana Government.
According to the new rule, the changes have been made to the state’s civil service exam pattern. The Haryana Civil Service exam from now on will have two papers of 100 marks each that are objective type in nature in the preliminary stage of the exam. The new pattern is similar to the IAS Exam conducted by UPSC.
This means, candidates will have to follow the same pattern in state and central level exam that will make the preparation easier.
