December 30, 2020: The largest topic of General Studies is Current Affairs. This is because it increases with every passing day and candidates require more time to cover the current affairs because of its horizontal and vertical expansion. Great effort is also required to prepare for current affairs. Current affairs are also an essential part of competitive exams for government jobs.

Current events of national and international importance influence the questions from all other topics because the current events retouch the basic topics from History, Geography, Economy and other General Knowledge topics. Hence, the current affairs section is a very important section for all the competitive examinations.
