November 24, 2020: Border Security Force (BSF) authorities have officially released the results for the BSF CISF GD Constable Recruitment 2020 Exam today, i.e on November 24, 2020, on its official BSF website. It has been notified by BSF authorities that the BSF GD Constable results 2020 will be released on BSF website @bsf.nic.in or @bsf.gov.in and on the official website of Ftr HQ BSF Jammu and Ftr HQ BSF Kashmir @www.jmu.bsf.gov.in
The written exam for the BSF CISF Constable recruitment 2020 to the post of GD constable (male & female) was conducted on November 8, 2020, from 11 AM to 1 PM at 13 recruitment centers of the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Region and Ladakh. The written exam was actually supposed to be held on October 18, but however, for some administrative reasons, it was postponed. Only the candidates who had qualified for the PET/PST tests took up the written exam.
Candidates who will qualify in the written examination conducted by BSF will be called for the Medical Exam Test (MET). In this test, candidates will be medically examined within the guidelines of the medical recruitment exams in CAPFs and AR issues vide MHA UP No. A-VI-1/2014/Rectt(SBB) as dated on May 20, 2015. It is noted that the candidate's distant vision must be 6/6 and 6/9 in both the eyes without wearing spectacles.
BSF had published the recruitment notification to fill 1356 vacancies for Constable (GD) Posts in BSF & CISF in the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh divisions in the month of November 2019.
Earlier in November 2019, BSF had released a recruitment notification inviting applicants to fill in a total of 1356 vacancies of GD constable posts, out of which 618 vacancies are reserved for BSF & 566 vacancies are reserved for CISF in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), and Ladakh Divisions.
