RRB has released the admit card for RRB JE (Junior Engineer) CBT Stage 1 on May 18, 2019. Candidates can download their admit card from rrbcdg.gov.in by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.
Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB JE exam for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer–Information Technology (JE-IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
For Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer – IT, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant the scale of pay is Level 06 (RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix.) with initial pay of Rs.35400/- along with other allowances.

The Category-wise required Upper and Lower age limit as on January 1, 2019 is 18 to 33 years. The lower limit of date of birth for all categories must not be later than January 01’2001. The upper limit should not be earlier than below dates:

The application process of RRB junior engineer can be summarized in four steps:
Step 1: Filing the application form- Candidates have to visit the official website rrbcdg.gov.in and fill the application form with all the detailed personal and educational information.
Step 2: Payment of Application Fees- After filling the form, relevant application fee has to be paid either through online mode or offline mode.
Step 3: Uploading Documents- the candidates have to upload their passport size photo and signature image in JPEG format.
Step 4: Submitting the form- The final step is to submit the form after reconfirming the details once and save the pdf of application form or take a print for further reference.
The RRB JE 2019 selection process consists of four stages: 1st stage CBT (Computer Based Test), 2nd stage CBT, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
1st Stage CBT: It is an objective paper consisting of 100 multiple choice questions that has to be done in 90 minutes with the given pattern:

There is a negative marking of one-third marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are called for 2nd stage CBT based on their normalized score in 1st CBT.
2nd Stage CBT: It is also an objective paper consisting of 150 multiple choice questions that has to be done in 120 minutes with the given pattern:

There is negative marking for each wrong answer of one-third marks. Candidates qualifying in 2nd Stage CBT are called for Document verification process (DV).
Document Verification: Candidates who successfully qualify 1st and 2nd stage CBT are called for DV. In this process, their original documents are verified. Any discrepancy may lead to disqualification of candidature.
Medical Examination: The final stage of RRB JE Recruitment process is Medical Examination. Different Posts have different requirements. Those who do not clear the checkup are not considered for the further selection process.
