The Railway Recruitment Board has released a new notification for the candidates who had taken the CBT(Computer Based Test) for the Ministerial and Isolated Category Posts against the CEN- 03/2019 to confirm their Bank Account Details for the refund of the Exam Fee.
They have opened a link on the official website of RRB as ‘Update Bank Account Link’ which is live from 10 AM, March 2, 2021 and will be so until 5 PM, March 17, 2021. To inform the candidates about the link and the timing, the board has also sent emails and SMSs on the registered email ids and contact numbers.
They have mentioned in their notification that the application process was conducted 2 years ago and in this period, there can be many changes in the bank account details of the candidates. It was also seen at that time that a large number of application fees was paid from the same bank accounts, a fact which questions the chances of those accounts belonging to any of the candidates. Also, in the last two years various banks have merged causing the IFSC codes of those banks to change. Thus, considering everything, it is imperative and mandatory to get the updated bank details of the candidates in order to ensure successful refund to every candidate.
The Board has also requested the students to be very careful while submitting their details including the IFSC codes and cross-checking them before the final submission as there is no provision to change it later. Thus, if the payment is declined due to any wrong information or detail, the Railway Recruitment Board is not responsible for that.
