Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), India has released an official notification stating about the vacancy for the post of Director in CSIR-lndian lnstitute of Toxicology- (CSlR-llTR), Lucknow. As per the official notification aspirant must a thinker and should be a visionary with a passion to serve society through high science & technological innovation. CSIR Director Post: Steps to apply

  • The aspirant has to send the application/nomination with the post with detailed bio-data. Bio-data should primely highlight scientific and translational contributions in detail along with a list of publications/patents etc. 
  • The nomination may be sent through email on email ID or by post to Director Recruitment Cell, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Anusandhan Bhawan, 2, Rafi Marg, New Delhi-1 10001. 

CSIR Director Post: Minimum Educational Qualification

Aspirant need to possess a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences or Master's Degree in Engineering/ Health/Medical Sciences (for Engineering/Health/Medical Sciences, ph.D. is desirable).

CSIR Director Post: Past Expereince 

Aspirants should have a minimum of 16 years of experience in Research and Development (with a focus on translational research) in the areas of activities of the laboratory and demonstrated excellence in leadership therein. Experience years shall be computed from the beginning of the candidate's research career.

CSIR Director Post: Appointment and Pay Scale

The appointment to the post of Director will be made for a tenure of six years or till superannuation. The tenure period will be renewable only in exceptional cases. Qualified aspirants will be paid in on matrix 15 with a salary between INR 1,82,2OO-2,24,100.
