SSC CGL Result (Combined Graduate Level) for Tier 1 will tentatively declare on November 8, 2016. SSC CGL result is declared separately for all the tiers and is published on the official website of SSC. The final result of SSC CGL exam, is declared after the Tier 4 exam is successfully conducted.

  • Now candidates are required to enter Test Form Number for login.

There is no fix date scheduled for SSC CGL 2016. But mostly they are declared within three months of the examination held.

Since the SSC CGL exam is held in three tiers, so result is also declared separately. But after the SSC CGL 2016 results for tier I,II and III are out, they are compiled together to form a combined single result. This final result forms the basis for SSC CGL 2016 merit list.

Resolution of Tie Cases in SSC CGL 2016

There may be some cases when 2 or more than 2 candidates score same marks and it results in ambiguity while ranking the candidates. The tie cases can be resolved by applying the following steps one after another, until the tie breaks

  • Total marks in the written examination
  • Total marks of Tier II Examination
  • Total marks in Tier I Examination
  • Date of Birth, with older candidate is placed higher
  • Candidate’s name in alphabetical order is placed higher
