The admit card for SSC CGL is available in online mode only. Candidates can download the SSC CGL Admit card from the regional websites of commission. The re-examination for candidates who appeared for exam on August 27, 2016 (Shift 2- 4:15PM to 5:30PM). The date of re-examination is October 27, 2016.

Candidates can download their admit cards with the help of Registration No./ Roll No./ Name along with date of birth. The admit card for Tier I re-examination is available from October 20, 2016 onwards. Candidates shortlisted after Tier I will appear for Tier II. SSC CGL Result for Tier I is expected to be announced on November 08, 2016.

The tier II for SSC CGL is scheduled from November 30 to December 02, 2016. The admit card for CGL Tier II is expected to be released 3 weeks prior to the exam. Admit Card for Tier III is expected to be available online in the month of January as the exam is scheduled for January 15, 2017.

Candidates should carry a photo identity card on the exam day. The candidates appearing for the exam without the ID proof will not be allowed to enter at the SSC CGL 2016 test center.

How to download SSC CGL 2016 admit card?

SSC CGL admit card can be downloaded from the official regional website of SSC. There are 4 simple steps to download the SSC CGL 2016 hall ticket:

  1. Go to the official website for your region. The following screenshots depicts the Delhi Region-

  2. Click on the link as highlighted. This will take you to the new page. Now there are three options available according to the details you have.
  • If you have details of the registration number and date of birth. Provide the details in the box.

  • If you have the details of the roll number and date of birth, then go with the following option:

4. Once the details are filled then download the SSC CGL admit card.

5. Keep the admit card safe as it will be used at the time of examination/ final allocation or posting.

Documents to carry with SSC CGL Admit Card

The candidate has to carry an id proof with the SSC CGL 2016 admit card. The list of acceptable ID proofs at the SSC CGL test centers are:

  • Aadhar Card

Discrepancy in SSC CGL Admit Card

SSC CGL Registration Process

The SSC CGL committee has given the candidate the freedom to choose the test centers. However once the test center is allocated for the CGL exam, it cannot be changed under any circumstances. Commission holds the right to cancel, add new exam center or re-allocate a new exam center, chosen by the candidates. The candidate has to report at the SSC CGL test center allotted by the SSC CGL committee on the day of the exam.

SSC CGL Exam Day Instructions

There are some general guidelines given by the SSC Exam committee that must be followed on the day of the exam. The candidate must go through these guidelines so that no problems occur during the day of the exam. Check the guidelines given below:

  1. The candidate must download the admission certificate and check that the certificate gives you the permission to give the exam in one shift only.
  2. The candidate in case finds that the certificate has any error in it, he/she must report to the Regional Director.
  3. The candidate, if appears, in more than one shift, he/she will be debarred from giving the exam for 3 years.
  4. A candidate can give the exam at only 1 allotted exam center.
  5. The thumb impression of the candidate will be taken on a biometric machine at the exam center. This is used as a signature of his/her presence.
  6. The photograph of the candidate will also be clicked at the Registration desk.
