Important Books for SSC CGL Tier 1

Computer Based Test is the new mode which was introduced in SSC CGLE 2016. In tier 1 examination there are 100 questions with the exam duration of 60 minutes. Subjects will be same as previous CGL pattern i.e. Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge including General Awareness.

Note that, there will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer given in Tier-I.

Important Books for SSC CGL Tier 2

In Tier-II examination, there are two exams that are conducted on the same day, that are of English and Mathematics. English Examination has 200 question with 200 marks and Mathematics examination has 100 questions with 200 marks.

  • It is going to be Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi
  • Tier 3 Topics will be Essay/ Letter/Application Writing etc.
  • The total exam duration is of one hour.
  • Tier 3 exam will be of 100 marks.
