National Testing Agency has scheduled the UGC NET sociology exam for today, November 11. The first shift of the NET examination is scheduled for the Sociology paper. The exam is to be held in the morning shift from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM 2020. The subject code of the computer application paper is 05. In the evening shift, the UGC NET Computer application paper will be conducted from 3:00- 6:00 PM. The subject code of the computer application paper is 87.   

UGC NET examination is conducted following all the necessary standard operating procedures and protocols of COVID-19. Everyone is being thermally screened before entering the exam center. NTA has made it compulsory to wear the face mask for every aspirant and conducting personnel. The facility of hand sanitizers is being installed in every classroom. UGC NET exam commenced on September 24, 2020, and scheduled to end on November 13, 2020.

UGC NET 2020: Exam Pattern & Syllabus 

NTA conducts UGC NET 2020 exam in online mode for 81 subjects. Aspirants qualified in NET will be eligible for posts of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in universities across India. Exam question paper is divided into two parts i.e., Paper I and II.  Both paper 1 and paper 2 are held in a single session itself with no break in between them. There are a total of 150 objective questions in the examination. The total time allotted for both papers is 3 hours. There is no provision of negative marking in the UGC NET examination.
