The National Testing Agency has confirmed that it will release the Admit Card for 2021 UGC NET at least 10 days before the exam. The candidates who are going to appear for the exam will be able to download the Admit Card from the official website.

The UGC NET 2021 exams are scheduled to be conducted between May 02, 2021, and May 17, 2021. The candidates would have to carry a printout of the UGC NET Admit Card to be allowed inside the exam centre. 

They must also have a government-issued valid photo-ID proof and a Covid-19 self-declaration form. Without any of the specified documents, the candidates will not be allowed inside the exam premises. 

The UGC NET Exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the Junior Research Fellowship. The Exam consists of two Objective type papers that are computer-based. They are conducted on a single day without any break. 

The UGC NET Exam is conducted twice a year- once in June and then in December. The exams about to be conducted in May 2021 are the December 2020 exams that were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The 2021 June and December exams are expected to be conducted on time for now. The Agency will release official notices for any change in schedule.
