March 11, 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the Application Correction Window for UGC NET from tomorrow, March 12, 2021. Any candidate who wants to correct his/her already filled form can visit the official website at

The Application process was conducted till March 9, and the last day to pay the application fee was March 10. Earlier the last day to apply was March 2, and to pay the fees was March 3 but after many requests from the applicants, the NTA had extended the dates. 

Any candidate who has already filled the form can correct the application now. However, no new registrations will be taken.

Exam Date May 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 17, 2021
Exam Time First Shift- 09 AM to 12 PM Second Shift- 03 PM to 06 PM
Exam Duration 3 hours (no break between Papers 1 and 2)
Exam Center Will be indicated on the Admit card

Steps to Correct the Application Form on Official Website

  1. Visit the official website of UGC NET at
  2. Find the link for ‘Correction in Application Form UGC NET 2021’.
  3. A new webpage to log in will open. 
  4. Log in using your application number, password, and security pin.
  5. Make your corrections in the application form such as change of photograph, preferred exam center, others.
  6. Make the fee payment (if required).
  7. Check the details again and download the filled application form.
  8. Save and print out the edited application for future references.

The UGC NET exam is conducted to recruit assistant professors for various colleges and universities. The exam is scheduled to take place in May 2021. The Admit cards for the same will be issued on the official website in due course of time. The exam is conducted in two shifts of 3 hours each.
