NTA conducts UGC NET 2020 for day 8 on November 4 in online mode. The exam is being conducted in 2 shifts. Check the exam pattern and related details here. NTA started the UGC NET 2020 exams on September 24. The exam will end on November 13. There are two shifts for the exam. The first shift begins at 9 am and ends at 12 noon. The second shift timings are from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The exam in shift 1 is conducted for six subjects. These subjects are Assamese (Code 36), Malayalam (Code 22), Marathi (Code 38), Punjabi (Code 24), Russian (Code 41) and Telugu (Code 27). To ensure discipline throughout the exam, a dress code is also set. Candidates are advised not to wear clothes that contain large buttons or metallic articles in it. Moreover, candidates who wear Kirpan or Kada must report at the examination center one and a half-hour prior to the exam commencement.
