UGC NET Admit Card 2019 will be made available tentatively from the 3rd week of December 2018 at the official website of CBSE, i.e. Candidates can log in to the official website by entering their Exam date, PID and Password. All those who have successfully submitted UGC NET Application Form are eligible to download their UGC NET Admit Card.

UGC NET Admit Card will be released by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). In case, candidates fail to receive their call letters, they must contact CBSE at at the earliest. UGC NET 2019 is conducted in 91 Test cities across the country each year for 100 subjects.

In case candidate forgets the application number or password. It can be recovered by answering the security question or by receiving a verification code via SMS or resetting the password through registered email id. Make sure to carry your UGC NET admit card, two recent photographs (coloured), receipt of payment and a valid photo ID proof (original) to the examination hall.

How to Download UGC NET Admit Card 2019?

UGC NET Admit Card 2019 will be made available online on the official website of UGC NET. Candidates will not be notified in person for the release of admit card. They should stay updated with the official website.

UGC NET 2019 Admit Card for the January session will be available in the month of December 2018. Admit card will have all the important instructions about the exam and exam center related to the candidate. Follow these steps to download your UGC NET 2019 Admit Card.

  1. Visit UGC NET official website i.e.
  2. Search and click on the link, ‘UGC NET Admit Card 2019’
  3. Enter your login credentials i.e. Application Number and your password.
  4. Login and download UGC NET Admit Card.
  5. Take a print out of it on A4 size sheet.
  6. In case a candidate has forgotten their password, it can be recovered using security question or by getting a verification code via SMS or e-mail to reset the password.

Candidates are required to carry their UGC NET Admit Card to the exam center failure to carry which, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall or appear for the examination. They are also required to carry identity documents with CBSE UGC NET 2019 Admit Card.

Problems in Downloading UGC NET 2019 Admit Card

There might be some reasons due to which a candidate is not able to download their UGC NET Admit Card. The reasons can be the following:-

  • Servers will be busy due to heavy traffic on the day of release of admit card as many candidates will try downloading their UGC NET 2019 Admit Card. So, candidates should have patience and should try again later.
  • There might be a problem with the login details of a candidate, kindly check your credentials carefully.
  • If you have forgotten your application number or password, use forget password to retrieve the information.
  • Sometimes, there are problems with the browser also. So, check that you are using the appropriate browser that supports the website well.

Note If still candidates are not able to download their UGC NET 2019 Admit Card, they should contact the concerned authority immediately.

CBSE UGC NET 2019 Exam Centers

Candidates are allowed to select 4 exam centers while filling UGC NET 2019 Application Form. The Board will try to allocate city of examination to a candidate on the basis of their choice in the application form. Though, in exceptional cases, a different city of the nearby location may also be allotted to the candidate.

The allotment of the city of examination or exam center will be based on the candidate’s preference as submitted during the application. In exceptional cases, a different or a nearby examination city or exam centre will be allotted.

UGC NET 2019 Admit Card Instructions

  • CBSE has the authority to change the city of examination or date of examination on the basis of their judgment without conveying any reason.
  • Candidates without the admit cards will not be allowed to enter the examination center.
  • Candidates are requested to bring any one photo identity proof along with their Admit Card on the day of examination at the examination center.
  • Candidates whose admit cards are not issued by the Board will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
  • Do not write anything or put any mark on the Admit Card or on any other paper.
  • On account of appearing in the examination, the Board will not pay any travel allowance to the candidates.
  • Candidates, who are not satisfied with the response, are allowed to challenge by filling an online application form of INR 1000 per question, on the website.
  • In every matter, the decision of CBSE will be considered final.
  • All legal disputes pertaining to this exam will fall within the authority of Delhi Courts only.

UGC NET 2019 Exam Day Instructions

It is mandatory for the candidates to follow the instructions while giving UGC NET 2019 exam. Failure to which may lead to cancellation of the candidature.

  • Candidates should report at least 2 hours before the beginning of examination at the examination center and cooperate with the security staff/invigilators while checking.
  • No candidate is allowed to enter the hall after the exam has begun.
  • No candidate can leave the examination hall before 10:45 AM in the first session, 12:30 PM in the second session and 4:30 PM in the third session.
  • Examination room will have a wall clock. No candidate is allowed to wear a wristwatch.
  • Calculators, Mobile phones, electronic devices, Log Tables, pagers, books, notebooks or bits of paper etc. are strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall. If any candidate found carrying or using any of the items in the examination hall will be considered using unfair means and his/her result will not be declared.
  • Candidates are advised to follow the instructions given by the invigilators inside the examination hall and should not get into an argument with them or any other staff member associated with the conduction of the examination. Misbehaving can lead to the cancellation of the candidature of the students.
  • Candidates should maintain complete silence in the examination hall. They are not allowed to disturb the other candidates.
  • No two candidates can discuss or talk on any matter inside the examination hall, failing to which their result will not be declared.
  • The OMR Sheet of Paper I and II should be returned by the candidate to the Invigilator before departing from the examination hall.
