What is the expected cut off for UGC NET 2017?

There were 3 papers in total in UGC NET Jan 2017 exam. Each paper is conducted in separate session albeit on the same day. Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in order to get qualified for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship and admission to PhD Programme. UGC NET minimum qualifying marks are mentioned in the following table:

Top 15% candidates for each subject & category in the UGC NET merit list are declared as UGE NET Qualified for Assistant Professor Only. Separate merit list is prepared from those in merit list, to be awarded Junior Research Fellowship.


CBSE UGC NET 2017 Result

UGC NET 2017 Result is expected to be declared in September 2017 at cbsenet.nic.in. Once the merit list is published, results can be checked online. Aggregate marks obtained in all 3 papers by each candidate is taken into consideration to determine UGC NET merit list. 

How to check UGC NET 2017 result?

  1. Visit the official website of CBSE UGC NET at cbsenet.nic.in.
  2. Under the Important Links section, follow UGC NET December 2016
  3. Click on UGC NET Result link
  4. Enter UGC NET roll number and date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy)
  5. Click on Submit button.

Candidate will get to see UGC NET Merit list and may also check obtained marks.
