CBSE UGC NET results for July 2016 session have been declared. The candidates can check the result on CBSE’s official website. CBSE UGC NET Result indicates the status of qualifying for JRF only or Assistant Professor only or both. The candidates need to enter their roll number and date of birth in order to view their result.
After the declaration of CBSE UGC NET Result, candidates can apply to different universities, institutions, etc. to pursue their research in the subject of their post-graduation, or in any subject related to it.
The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) twice a year in July and December. The exam was conducted on July 10, 2016 on various exam centers across the country.
The NET results will be declared online on the official website of CBSE. To check the result of CBSE UGC NET, follow the steps given below: -
From last year, CBSE has decided that candidates can obtain their OMR sheet as well as their calculation sheet if they wanted to. The sheets can be obtained on the request of the candidate along with a prescribed fee.
The candidates who wish to obtain their OMR sheet and calculation sheet must apply for the same in the given time period, after filling the required fee.
The candidates must mention their Roll Number, Name, Date of Birth, and Address correctly in their application letter.
The fee is to be paid through Demand Draft, and the candidate’s details should also be mentioned at the back side of the demand draft.
The qualifying criteria and the cut-off percentage for UGC NET is decided by CBSE. The cut-off varies for each subject, and for JRF and Assistant Professor. The cut-off for each Paper is given below:

Out of those candidates who clear the above-mentioned cut-offs, a merit list will be prepared both subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers. The top 15% candidates for each subject and category will be declared eligible for Assistant Professor. For JRF, a separate merit list will be prepared.
