SSC JE 2019-20 Result of Paper 2 Result Released; Final Result To Be Out In November

SSC has released the result for SSC JE 2019-20 paper 2 on October 21 on its official website. The final result of SSC JE is scheduled to be announced on November 30, 2020.

Staff Selection Commission ended the document verification for SSC JE 2019-20 on September 28. The Commission has only released the result of the candidates who appeared for the document verification process held. The SSC JE (Junior Engineer) exam 1 was held from September 23 to 27, 2019 in online mode.

The result for SSC JE Paper I has already been declared on December 12 and 27, 2019 state-wise. Candidates who qualify paper I proceed to the next round, i.e. descriptive paper.

Paper 2 is different from paper 1 as the former involves tough problems and also subjective questions trigger the toughness of the exam. For the exam, candidates are allowed to bring in necessary tools such as Slide-Rule, calculator, Logarithm Table, and Steam Table candidates who manage to score above the qualifying marks are then shortlisted for the interview phase.

There are various details that are to be filled in the answer sheet. These details include roll Numbers, subject, signature, and left-hand thumb impression. A candidate will stand disqualified and his/her paper will not be entitled to get evaluated if the above-mentioned details are not there. The instructions laid by the Commission for the exam are strict and regulatory.

The SSC JE final result might get released in November, but the official notice will release the dates for the same soon.

The cut-off for SSC JE papers 1 and 2 is 30%, 25%, and 20% for General candidates, OBC/EWS and for rest respectively. Marks are calculated on the basis of the calculation of standardized marks. 

SSC JE Result: How to Check The Result

Candidates can follow these steps to check the result of SSC JE:

  1. Visit the SSC official website ssc.nic.in. and log in using the credentials.
  2. Click on the ‘result’ option.
  3. Now, select the ‘JE’ button.
  4. Click on the link ‘SSC JE Result 2019’.
  5. The result will be shown in the pdf pattern.
  6. Check for the roll number and name by pressing Ctrl+f. If the candidate is shortlisted, then their name will be displayed.
  7. Download the same.
  8. Take a print out for further reference.

SSC JE 2019-20: Expected Cut-off

Over 5.6 Lakh candidates have appeared in paper 1 and from that pool, only 1000 will be selected for the next round. There is an aggregate of 887 vacancies for the SSC JE post. The expected cut-off for the year is shown below.
