SSC JE Admit Card for Paper I would be available on the regional websites of SSC. Paper I of SSC JE is conducted online and scheduled to conduct on December 8, 2016, December 9, 2016 and December 12, 2016. But, commission hasn’t released any date related to Paper II exam. To download the SSC Junior Engineer Admit Cards, the candidates will have to visit the login page and enter their Registration ID/date of Birth. Candidates should download their SSC Junior Engineer Admit Cards as per the regions from where they have applied. No admit card is sent through post to the candidates.

All those candidates who qualify Paper I are eligible to appear for Paper II. If any candidate does not receive the Admission Certificate one week before the examination then candidate should immediately contact the sub-regional or regional offices with details such as Registration ID and Copy of Challan.

It is important for the candidate to carry the SSC JE admit card along with them to the examination center. Candidates who fail to carry the Admit Card along with them will not be allowed to appear in the SSC JE exam.

Steps to Download SSC JE 2016 Admit Card

Candidates have to follow the given below simple steps for downloading their SSC JE Admit Card.

  • The candidates have to click on the link given on this page for downloading the SSC JE admit card.
  • Candidates are required to enter their respective details such as Application no. and Date of Birth.
  • After entering all the details, click on ‘Submit’ button accordingly.
  • Candidates should check all the details carefully before downloading the SSC JE admit card.
  • Once the details are checked then click on the ‘Download’ button.
  • After downloading the Admit Card the candidate has to take the printout of SSC JE Admit Card.

Details Required For Downloading SSC JE Admit Card

The candidates appearing for SSC JE 2016 exam will require the following details so that they can have access on the SSC JE Admit Card.

  • Roll Number
  • Date Of Birth
  • Password
  • Registration ID

Documents to Carry with SSC JE Admit Card

The Admit Card of SSC JE 2016 contains detail related to exam such as date and time, venue and other important instructions. The candidates have to download the SSC JE Admit Card from the official website. Do not spoil/tear/ or mark anything on the SSC JE admit card. The Admit Card for exam is issued 10-15 days before the conduct of SSC JE exam. It is very important to bring the SSC JE Admit Card to the examination centre on the day of exam. 

Candidates should bring photo identity card, photo copy of photo ID card and 3 passport size photographs for pasting it in the Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate in presence of Invigilators.

The candidates appearing in SSC JE exam should carry 3 passport size photographs along with any of the following identity card-

  1. Voter ID Card
  2. Driving License
  3. Aadhar Card
  4. PAN Card
  5. ID card of any government agency

Some guidelines about the photograph in the SSC JE Admit Card are as follows:

  • The face should not cover less than 80% of the entire photograph.
  • It should be in 8 bit JPG format.
  • Resolution should be in between 4kb to 12kb.
  • There should be no red eye, if flash is used. Eyes should be clearly visible.

Discrepancy in SSC JE Admit Card

All the information on the SSC JE Admit Card 2016 should be checked very carefully. If any discrepancy is seen or correction is required in the SSC JE admit card then it should be immediately reported to the Staff Selection Commission for any enquiry. If the candidate does not receive the Admission Certificate 1 week before the exam then he/she must immediately contact the sub-regional or regional offices with his/her details such as:

  • A copy of challan
  • Registration ID
  • Transaction ID of Payment

SSC JE 2016 Exam Day Instructions

The candidate appearing in the test should remember the following points during his/her SSC JE test. They are as follows:

  1. Candidates are requested to bring their SSC JE Admit Cards on the day of examination.
  2. Candidates must write the papers or indicate the answers in their own handwriting.
  3. Candidates are not allowed to use any electronic gadgets except the ones that are specified. They should not bring the same inside the Examination Hall.
  4. In case, a candidate is found to have mobile phones or any other wireless communication in working or switched off mode, he/she shall not be allowed to sit in the exam hall and his application shall be cancelled and he/she will be debarred from the SSC JE examination for a period of 3 years.
  5. Candidates are required to carry their own set of stationary such as Scientific Calculator, Logarithmic Table and Steam Table.
  6. The candidates must write the answers either in Hindi or in English. If the answers are indicated/written in Hindi and partly in English and vice versa, then answer sheet will not be evaluated/checked.
  7. OMR Type of Answer Sheets will be provided to the candidates for recording their answers of Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions.
  8. Candidate should write his/her name, Roll Number, Ticket Number and Test Form Number correctly in OMR Answer Sheet.
  9. If the Answer Sheet is not having candidate’s Name, Roll Number, Test Form Number, Signature and left hand thumb impression then his/her paper will not be evaluated/checked. 

Instructions for Filling SSC JE OMR Sheet

The following instructions must be kept in mind while filling the given OMR sheet. They are as follows:

  1. The candidate should take a look at the OMR sheet and understand fully the way in which the answers are to be filled.
  2. The candidate is provided with a sample OMR along with the answer booklet so that he/she can fully visualize it.
  3. The OMR sheet consists of 4 options marked as A, B, C and D. The candidate has to use a pen or a pencil to fully shade the correct box.
  4. The boxes must be shaded accurately and no two boxes should be shaded for the same answer because there is a provision of negative marking in the exam.
  5. The candidate must write his/her name, Roll Number, Ticket Number and Test Form Number correctly in SSC JE OMR Answer Sheet.
  6. Candidates must ensure that he/she has correctly put a signature and left thumb impression on the cover page at appropriate space. The answer sheet not containing the same will not be evaluated.
  7. The student should read all the instructions given on the OMR sheet correctly and carefully.
