Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification related to the SSC CHSL and SSC CGL - Skill Tests 2018. SSC will conduct the Skill Tests 2018 for SSC-Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) on November 26, 2020, and for SSC-Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) on December 18 and 19, 2020.
The SSC CHSL Skill Test 2018 includes a typing test and DEST. The Typing Test is applicable for the posts of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, LDC, and Court Clerk, and the skill test is conducted for the post of Data Entry Operators. According to the released notification by the commission, it is stated that the print out/hard copy of the typed test will not be taken into consideration after the skill test (type test/DEST) and the candidates for the English typing test/DEST must opt for English (United States) as their options.

Further, A demo video that is related to the said Typing Test/DEST has been uploaded by the SSC at its website in the Candidates Corner which can be accessed by the candidates.

Earlier, this year, the Staff Selection Commission had released the SSC CHSL Tier-2 exam results on February 25, 2020, while the results for the same were also released on March 2, 2020. The candidates who have qualified for the SSC CHSL Tier-2 exam will be eligible to appear for the Skill Test 2018.
